In honour of one my favourite cakes (one of!), I have
renamed my latest blanket from Granny Square Blanket to the Battenberg Blanket.
I have calculated that I’ll need 195 squares for the whole thing (15 x 13
squares). So far I have…. 24. So I still have a bit of a way to go.
I have made 18 different patterned squares, so now just need
to make enough multiples of each to get to my full quota.

I am using Stylecraft Special DK which is my favourite colourful yarn to use. The colours are Blush (pink), Saffron (yellow), Cream, and Parchment (grey border).
